Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches.
Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches. Local food was also amazing and people were very nice wherever we went. If you are visiting this island, you must see Olympus village. It does take around 1 hour of driving with car from Pigadia, but it's well worth the view. Talking with locals there we learned a lot of history about this island.SSimonSLOSlovenia - 10Scored 10

Great island with amazing beaches. Mountain part is so wild and feels like untouched from the crowds and tourism. All beaches had amazing waters. Many pretty small villages with views at the sea. Sunset from Olympos is stunning.

It is so safe!
It is so safe! The walking is wonderful - many views of the sea. The boat tours were wonderful. So many choices of how to see the island villages. We had a lovely seven village private tour with Apollon Private Tours.

The town folk were friendly and helpful.
The town folk were friendly and helpful. I came a little out of season so quite a few stores and restaurants had shut down. As a result I couldn't get the full compliment of seafood(lobsters) that they usually serve in season, but I also got cheaper deals on other things, such as rental vehicles and hotel accommodationO - 10Scored 10

Karpathos is a wonderful place to visit. There are lots of boat tours that take you to different beaches and the oldest village on the island. The food is amazing and the shops have lots to offer. It is one of the most beautiful places I have been and I have traveled the world.Case

The landlord picked me up from the airport, gave me a lift to Pigadia and back several times and he and his wife were always there for anything I needed. I had no car, but there were several buses to town and connections by bus and boat to other places from there. Kastelia beach is a 15 minute walk from the studios and Ammoopi and other beautiful beaches can also be reached by bus or on foot. There is a mini market and a restaurant near by.

Very clean, very quite, large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good couch, well working airconditioning and all needed we equipment is available. The best two snorkeling locations are just down the road, a few minutes walk. Also diving Karpathos starts from one of the two locations. Very very friendly owners. Joanna's husband even brought us to the airport since we hired our car in Amoopi and needed a taxi to the airport

Location is just outside the town's center but there is a steep upheel. Nothing to scare you off. Terrace is great with nice view. Swimming pool I didn't use but looked okay.
