Situat în Jukkasjärvi, în nordul Suediei, Icehotel oferă camere complet construite și sculptate din gheață, din apă provenită din râul Torne, aflat în vecinătate. Saw the northern lights! And falling snow - what more can I add! Walking distance from the outdoor Sami Museum- really walking distance as i have sciatica and lower back pain and i managed it in heavy snow boots. . We went down there twice as the people there were so welcoming. We made sami flat bread over a roaring fire one day and went back for lunch the next day, highly recommended.

Please note that bedlinen, towels and departure cleaning are not included in the rate of Cottages, Quadruple rooms, Family rooms and dorm beds. It’s THE hub for Abisko so staying here was kinda the only option for us. The place was great regardless. We enjoyed our time here! We saw a glimpse of northern light at around 2am on our last night:)

Grand Hotel Lapland is situated in the centre of Gällivare, directly opposite Gällivare Train Station. This area is known for both the midnight sun and the unique northern lights. Exceptional breakfast, comfy beds & bathroom, very enjoyable in winter and summer, luxurious rooms, gym, cosy lounge area with free coffee and tea etc., and very helpful and friendly staff! Conveniently located across the train station. Despite being more outdoorsy people, we always look forward to staying here.

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. Great experience in the cabin. Loved it totally!!

Located by Mount Luossavaara, Malmfältens Folkhögskola offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi and a TV. All guests have access to a shared kitchen and lounge. The hotel was very cute and in a great location. My absolute favorite was the on-site restaurant. The staff was very kind and everything was delicious.
