It's the second time I stayed here. The breakfast was good, rooms clean and spacious, friendly staff with a smile especially at the reception. Had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we were really satisfied. Parking outside the hotel always available. Above all the price was very reasonable.

The room had everything you needed, was a good size and well presented. The property was within a 10 minute walk to explore the surrounding old town. The off street parking was really convenient and ensured we avoided the ZTL. The staff was responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist.
Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

Very nice city split in two parts, Modica alta(hill) and modica bassa(old town), long corso for nice promenade for shopping and eating, many old interesting buildings and monuments, turistic train running around the city, defintely 1-2 night to spend worth it.

Modica is a very interesting town. For older people the steps and steep roads and streets might be challenging. The green tourist “train” gave a good overview of the histoic centre of the old town. Modica is so unique.
Modica is so unique. Our first view of the steep hillside of buildings took our breath away. Our phones weren't helping us get there so we drove down from the alto section to the bottom through the town. That was amazing. Just looking up at different times of the day are worth the experience.

Modica was the perfect Baroque city to locate in to explore the other cities and the beach. The location to bus station and train station was convenient to do daytime exploring. The view from the room is really the best looking directly to the church. The refurbishment was done with respect to the original place and the furniture l, linen, decoration are very authentic. Everything was spotless clean and the breakfast rich and tastefull. Also special attribute to the host who helped us get back our forgotten jackets. We would go back to Sicily only to stay again at Dimora Birulla.

I did not use the parking that comes with the place as the entrance is a bit narrow for a bigger car, but it was easy and cheap to find parking on the street nearby.
