The hotel is a bit out of the town centre, but perfectly fine for car drivers - once you get used to the multi level one way system! Buncrana is well placed for touring North Donegal County and visiting Derry/Londonderry City nearby in N. Ireland, to where there are no travel or border restrictions. Thought the local ferries were a bit expensive for cars. The local attraction "Wild Ireland" situated near Burnfoot was well worth a visit. And a visit to Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head, is a "must do" too. Be advised that the famous Slieve League Cliffs are over 100km from Buncrana.

A visit to Dunree Fort is worth a visit. We didn't visit the museum but did some of the walks which were spectacular. We also ate in the little cafe on site which was very good indeed. Coffee in particular!

I have been to a few BnB in Ireland but this one was exceptional. It felt like I was staying with my own family. Evelyn and her husband are one of the friendly people I ever met, they treat the guests with love and kindness. Always there to help with whatever I needed. My room was very clean and neat. Had a delicious breakfast as well, spoiled for choices. This place is now my second home whenever I visit buncrana.

Location was perfect and buncrana is a lovely town. The house was so clean and had everything that was needed and lovely outside area. The value for money at this hotel is amazing! We were attending a wedding down the road at the Red Door Country club and stayed at this hotel, the hotel staff were extremely accommodation getting us taxis to and from the wedding. Rooms are massive and great views. Pool, steam room facilities etc were great and extremely clean.
Lovely big property, beautiful views over the lough, 2 minute drive to a lovely beach, and near to pubs / restaurants. Lots of space for the family to spread out in the property and I can imagine in summer it will be stunning having a BBQ in the outside patio area. Heating also worked well.
Spotless. Great views out across the old Church and valley. Three really good sized bedrooms. Kitchen and living space really cosy with a great wood burning stove. Also very peaceful in amongst farmland and cattle. Short walk to Buncrana town centre and Swan Park.
Bruncrana is lovely little town at the edge of Lough Swilly. The Cottage provides more than enough space for a family of four. It was very clean, had all the essentials and was very comfortable. Idea location for touring Inishowen and it's stunning beaches.
The food and the choice was excellent. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. Again the food in the evening was excellent. All the staff are very pleasant and attentive especially Clare and Michaela who made you feel right at home.
The property was spacious and equipped with what we needed for our stay. We were visiting the area to attend a family wedding, easy to check in.
May benefit from some soft furnishings to help acoustics in the lounge and kitchen.
Although it was to be a room only, our provider fed us both mornings we were there.
We were also treated to a lovely St. Pat's Day with our providers as we spent the day celebrating with them. Tara guided us all around Buncrana.
We stayed in the 2-bed unit, nicely renovated, good location, modern & warm, clean and near to local shop & hotel with bar / restaurant and couple mins drive to Buncrana main street. The view over Lough Swilly is gorgeous.
Beautiful well kept rooms with very easy walk to town where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Also a perfect place to begin the inishowen peninsula.
Excellent breakfast and the host had several recommendations.
The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Donegal region. We had a spacious nice room, very clean and good breakfast. The beach is just across the street and perfect for evening and morning walks.
Elegant decor, warm welcome, and sumptuous place in a beautiful setting overlooking Lough Swilly and close to restaurants and amenities. Marie and her husband offered a smooth and accommodating service.
