Fiskado is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia.
Fiskado is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia. It has a wonderful mixture of lovely restaurants, shops, beach and bayfront. Honestly it's the perfect place to have your first taste of Kefalonia, I've gone back 5 times since my fist visit in 2016.
Try, Foki beach, Emplysi Beach, Have drinks at the harbour front and watch the sailing yachts and motor yatchs coming in and out, while sipping an Aperol Spritz. Ellies for dinner for a treat def the best Res end of the bay. Irida's, Vasso's, Apagio all great. Theodora Cafe for Aperol Spritz and Cosmopolitans!
There are SO many amazing shops too, I have tried and failed to NOT come back with anything I just had to have....beautiful clothes from Greek designers...don't be too hasty to dismiss! Leather good, china, olives and olive oil of course...oh the OLIVES!

A little piece of heaven , so tranquil & beautiful.
A little piece of heaven , so tranquil & beautiful. Has something for everyone, so many restaurants, beaches to choose from . Gets busy around the harbour when the tourists depart the ferry at midday, I’m always at the beach at this time so not a problem. The ambience in the evening is lovely & interesting watching the yachts & how the rich live . The quality of the food here is very high , the fish super fresh . Lots of lovely beaches to to drive to just outside the are . Will be returning for my 5 the visit next year

Beautiful harbour.
Beautiful harbour. Plenty of restaurants and for us a great base to visit other beaches in a hire car and return to Fiskardo in the evening. Best of both. Nearby, Fiki beach was lovely. Make sure you buy swimming shies as the beaches and bays are stoney. Crystal clear water makes up for it! We stayed at Anthis beach apartments overlooking the small beach. Perfect location , lovely host . Thanks Gina for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fiskardo is a high end buzzing place.
Fiskardo is a high end buzzing place. Yes the tavernas are at the pricey end but the quality is good and the atmosphere is great. We only had one poor meal and should have realised that going to a place that wasn’t busy was a sign it might not be great. The Thai restaurant was a fun find, probably the best meal of the holiday. We chartered a yacht one day which was our big treat and a lovely experience. We also rented a motor boat from Reginas and that was as much fun. We love Fiscardo

One of the few villages in Kefallonia that survived a devastating earthquake, Fiskardo is truly picturesque. It is a tiny cozy fishing village with a plentiful of restaurants and nice shops. there are three walking paths around - including one taking you to a Venetian and modern lighthouse. Highly recommended!

We're not the sort to just lie on the beach all day - but we love a harbour!. Fiskardo is considered by some to be 'upmarket' but it has a lovely chilled vibe and we love just sitting in a bar or restaurant just watching the boats coming and going. Fiskardo is completely car-free so it's peaceful and relaxed with everything right at the water's edge.
I loved everything about my stay at Anna Maria’s cozy studio! The location was excellent, the place was very nice, spacious & very clean & comfortable! You can walk to all the shops & restaurants, Emplisi & Fooki beaches plus multiple swimming spots, even some Roman ruins! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, everything worked really well! Highly recommend this place to everyone considering Fiskardo. Beautiful place, a true paradise and the hostess Anna Maria was great & very accommodating! You won’t regret it!
Amazing location on the top of the mountain, beautiful premises with a fantastic pool area, and spacious rooms with unobstructed views of the sunset into the Ionian Sea.
Dinos, the hotel manager, and his wife were amazing hosts - knowledgeable and always extremely helpful!
Excellent restaurant - breakfast was always fresh and plentiful with a big variety of options and new specialties every morning. Dinners at the restaurant were also fantastic!
Close proximity to the amazing Emplysi beach and Fiscardo.
Location great - about 3 miles from Fiskardo. Short walk to village of Magganos which has 4 great restaurants and 2 small supermarkets. Nearest nice beach is Jerusalem beach with a great Taverna, sun beds ( rare in the north of the island) and lovely clear water. Relatively quiet too. View from Villa Dioni was fanastic. Very clean. Host had left local wine, honey, snacks, dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets. Great communication with the host. Prompt. Need a car to view the local area.
The Location is Super, just a few steps
and one is right in the middle of everything on the waterfront.
The air conditioner works wonderfully.
The maid was nice, she speaks only Greek, is the only one I saw. My son had already checked in.
The room was clean and pretty basic. But I think there is a difference between all the different rooms.
It would make sense to ask directly with Hotel , which room one is getting. Esp. if stairs are a problem for you.
The price is/was reasonable.
The location was truly spectacular with a balcony facing the sea and Fiskardo village with subtle privacy screens either side of the balcony. It's only a ten minute walk down to the town and about 13minutes slightly uphill on the way back up! A sweet restaurant and bakery just on the doorstep which was perfect for a quick croissant before heading to the beach. A few beaches nearby but we hired a car and drove to many others which was really enjoyable as the views are amazing.
On a road trip in Cephalonia, we were looking for an affordable and quiet 1 night stay close to Fiskardos. Stella Hotel Apts perfectly met our expectations.
It was well equipped to allow meal preparation. Nice view on the sea.
You can park in the street below the hotel.
There's a small clean and quiet beach less than100m from the room and the larger Foca beack a bit further (but we didn't go as it was overcrowed).
Quick ans easy access to Fiskardo's downtown by foot.
Stayed here for a couple of nights in September to bridge 2 weeks in seperate villas on different areas of the island. Having only expirienced Fiskardo in the day time our stay here was just perfect. Right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of one of Kefalonia's gems! The room was absolutely huge, suite 112, and was fully equipped with all we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, a bit of a struggle to get out of! I would recommned staying here to anyone!
The location is a little out of fiskardo, 4 minute drive. There are some local tavernas a few minutes walk away, 2 to the left and a few to the right. All pretty decent and lovely. Couple of shops too. The hotel was quiet which was lovely and we often had the pool to ourselves. It was clean and the room had a few amenities for us to use.....cooker, kettle, cutlery, fridge etc. Overall a good base to explore this part of the island if you have a car.
We were greeted by the wonderful Nikos who took us through to the room.
The room was wonderfully dressed and the boutique shampoo, body wasn't and eco responsible soap was a lovely touch.
The porch area out the front was the perfect location to wind down after a busy day with a glass of local wine. Very secluded and quiet despite being a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of the Fiskardo waterfront.
Home was bright, clean and the host was amazing. We had fruit and juice waiting for us when we arrived. He also provided laundry detergent, beach towels and more. We felt so welcomed. The pool was great and they even had floats and toys for it. The balconies had amazing views and sunrises. The area was very quiet and peaceful but a short drive away from the main part of town.
We loved the location, steps from the village restaurants and also a beach. Vaso, our host, is the best part of our stay, though. She is the most thoughtful, friendly, helpful host you will find. She anticipates your needs and takes care of her guests. She is always available for advice and knows everyone. She made us feel very at home in this lovely village.
Fantastic location in beautiful Fiscardo 1 min walk from gorgeous cove beach (left from hotel). Great boutique hotel just a few rooms very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Short stroll from the marina shops and restaurants. Recommend the cocktail bar Panormos for sunset cocktails. All the restaurants on the marina are nice. Hope to go back 🙏
Location is fantastic. Fiscardo is a lovely area with many amazing beaches and places to eat close by.
Eleni is a great host! She and her daughter met us pretty late in the evening to give us the keys and she was extremely helpful throughout our stay with timely responses with recommendations and answers to other questions.
very friendly owner :) hotel is clean, superb location as only a few mins walk from Fiskardo. Hotel has a fantastic little beach right at the door that is way better than Foki beach!
Room was very comfortable, beds/mattress are a dream, little kitchen is fully equipped, view from balcony is the best..
Quiet and comfy.
The view from the house is simply unique and magnificent. Lot of place to take the sun and rest while looking at the sea.
You reach the nearby beach in 2 minutes walk . The owner offered us a bottle of wine and plenty of local products in a basket for the breakfast.
Great location very close to the centre of Fiskardo. Extremely helpful hosts with some unexpected touches such as fridge stocked with drinks when we arrived and the apartment cleaned twice during our 8 day stay. Nearby parking and good WiFi.
Beautiful location and views. Fiskardo is the prettiest town in Kefalonia. Really nice toiletries in room. Very nature-focused. The food and drinks at the hotel are great and fairly priced.
Great location, very comfortable room (the sofa bed easily fits 2 adults), beautiful flowers all around, breezy. A myriad of beautiful beaches / creeks a few minutes away by car.
