The hotel and staff were amazing. The location was excellent and the view of the lake was out of this world! The room was huge, very comfortable and the children loved having their very own space.

I was travelling with my family and we arrived late to the Pension. They made it easy to find, however, with lots of directions and communication. We were greeted with warmness, and showed to our well appointed, immaculate rooms, where we all slept very well., My mom says: “Exceptional service and ultra clean, with really high quality bedding.” My dad says “I would recommend to a friend, and I would go back there”.

We loved this charming hotel. Personnel was kind, amenities are excellent, comfy, clean, and very cozy. Easy access to train and ski lifts. Nice decoration. Excellent restaurant (good cocktails). Cute living room/bar area with fireplace, and really nice complimentary tea time. The charm of of a small hotel with the standards of a 4*. Kudos to the team!

Hotel Kernen could do a master class in how to provide the perfect breakfast buffet - it was beyond fabulous. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was outside the centre of Gstaad which was a plus as it was peaceful but guests got a free pass on the train into Gstaad from Schönried station just behind the hotel.

The Ermitage Wellness & SPA Hotel in Schönried - Gstaad is located on a sunny terrace above Gstaad in the middle of a park. It offers panoramic views of the Saanenland and the surrounding mountains.
