Het Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center bevindt zich in het hart van Luxor en biedt moderne accommodatie met een prachtig uitzicht op de Nijl. Geweldig hotel gelegen recht aan de Nijl met een heel mooi zwembad. Ontbijt was uitstekend en je zit overal dichtbij. Daarnaast hele vriendelijke staf tijdens het ontbijt, bij het zwembad en beneden bij de Nijl voor bijvoorbeeld een Felucca trip op de Nijl. Echt een aanrader, ons favoriete hotel tijdens onze trip.

Located on the West Bank, this place offers a peaceful retreat close to major attractions, yet far from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank. If you prefer staying in a quiet spot near a farm, where you can experience authentic local life—especially in the evenings when the crowds are gone—this is the perfect choice for you. The food is made from fresh ingredients grown right on their farm, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. While the amenities are basic, they are more than sufficient: the room and bed are comfortable, the shower works well, and the entire place exudes an authentic Bedouin charm. Overall, it’s a great value for money and definitely worth a stay.

It's very quit, right behind the waterfront on the west bank where there are a bunch of nice places to eat. A pretty garden and the pool was very enjoyable. Wifi worked well, and smart tv with youtube and netflix was great for entertainment and getting some history lessons before visiting the sites. Just walk out the door and for a buck or 2 you are on the other side of the Nile or within moments you'll find a taxi to take you to the valley of the kings. We loved it. Owner was very communicative, speaks good English and always responded promptly via whatsapp. 10/10

We loved everything! Walid and his family were so kind and helpful! He's an architect of the Arabic design style, and those elements are everywhere. What a beautiful space! Also, do not miss the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast added to your stay. The family does an amazing dinner cooked with wood fire underground. They allowed me to video the process, which starts hours before dinner. Truly one of the best meals of our trip in Egypt.
