This was a lovely comfortable clean lodge with everything needed. Very cosy a christmassey with a little tree up which we loved. The host Peter was a gentleman and helped us out big time to get us to a wedding as no taxi was available. We were greeted by Patch the dog on arrival she was the best!

We were moved by a thoughtful details like a welcoming gift basket with fresh eggs, milk, butter and other goodies. The owners also equipped the property with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay, like an umbrella, picnic basket, and other lovely things. We felt welcomed and would certainly love to come back and stay at decoy cottages again. The local kitty Rona stole our hearts. Totally welcoming, beautiful ginger lap kitty!

Set within 120 acres of stunning parkland, this luxurious 4-star resort has been developed around a magnificent 1750’s Georgian residence in Enfield, County Meath. Top class hotel staff and food was excellent. Hotel was spotless and lovely grounds for a stroll after dinner. Breakfast was best I had in a long time . Nice front area to sit down and have a drink.
