Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring is gelegen op 1,7 km van Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, en biedt een 4-sterrenaccommodatie in Matsue en biedt een spa- en wellnesscentrum. The hotel seems brand new, and the rooms are nicely set up with tatami mats and comfortable beds. Just like in a ryokan, you leave your shoes at the entrance. This gives the hotel a very cozy feel despite its size. The staff is extraordinary. I never had to wait to talk to a staff member and they were very helpful. The onsen is one of the best I experienced in larger hotels like this. It is a very nice oasis to come back to after a long day. I particularly liked that they also have a sauna. The location is ideal. There are lots of restaurants and bars literally right outside the hotel, the lake and the castle are both just a short stroll away. If I come back to Matsue, I will stay here again for sure.

HOTEL CLA-SS HIROSHIMA-TOKAICHI bevindt zich in de wijk Hiroshima Centrum in Hiroshima, en biedt gratis WiFi en kamers met 4 sterren. Het is een hotel maar je hebt niet het gevoel dat je in een hotel zit. Er was koffie die mocht pakken en mocht je je pyjama zijn vergeten dan kan je er daar één lenen. We waren met drie en hadden een familiekamer. Deze had een apart keukentje, slaapkamer en woonkamer waar je lekker op kan neerploffen. Er was ook een heerlijk bad en ze hadden bruistabletten liggen die je kan gebruiken.

Hiroshima Airport Hotel ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van de luchthaven van Hiroshima en biedt comfortabele kamers met WiFi en 2 restaurants. The lady at the reception with good command of English, and the gentleman who helped us with our luggage (also with good command of English) or extremely welcoming and helpful. They even helped us to book a cab for the next day. It was the best thing about the hotel. And the view is great, especially the garden behind the hotel.

HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA SOUTH GATE is goed gelegen in Hiroshima, en biedt een als buffet aangeboden ontbijt en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Awesome location. Literally above the station but noise wasn’t an issue. The tram is right outside the entrance- very convenient if you are going to Miyajima. The shinkansen is close so very convenient if you have many bags to handle. Helpful and pleasant staff. Clean room with a great view. Separate toilet and shower. Make sure you put “South Gate” when looking for it on a map app because there is another hotel on the other side.

Etajimasou Hotel & SPA Hiroshima bevindt zich in Etajima, op 8,8 km van Naval History Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Beautiful location and stunning views from the huge window in the room.

GRAND BASE Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park ligt op 7 minuten lopen van Vredespark van Hiroshima en 700 meter van Atoombomkoepel (vredesmonument) in het centrum van Hiroshima. The property was really cozy and well located. Besides, the owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room was huge in comparison with other japan hotels and all the amenities were perfect. An amazing touch is the tourist recommendations they have in each room.

3 Wellness is gelegen in Okayama, op 3,7 km van Rian Bunko Art Museum en 4 km van Kuni Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... Very clean and well equipped. Self check in very convenient and easy to understand. Free parking is a plus too.

The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa ligt in Tsuyama, op 2 minuten lopen van Tsuyama Wonder Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Op onze rondreis verbleven we voor 1 nacht in dit hotel. Zeer comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Wij hadden twee eenpersoonsbedden van elk 1 meter breed. Hotel ziet er echt mooi uit. Heerlijke baden op de bovenste verdieping met uitzicht. Ontbijt is heel goed. Personeel zeer attent. Je kan in het hotel dineren of in een van de nabij gelegen restaurants. Een goed restaurant zit 2 straten verderop.

MOMOYA nagomi is gelegen in de wijk Kita Ward in Okayama, op minder dan 1 km van Shimoishii Park, 15 minuten lopen van Kyobashi no Kyokyakuato en 1,1 km van Okayama Baptist Church. I had a wonderful stay here. The location is convenient, just a short streetcar/bus ride or walk from Okayama Station, with just a few restaurants and a 7-Eleven nearby but plenty more options are available around the station. The castle area is also easy to reach by foot or public transport. The apartment was spacious, quiet, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful details. It truly felt like home. The beds were large and comfortable, the best sleep I had on my trip. Bedding, extra blankets, and towels were all high quality. The amenities were excellent, from the floor heating to the well-functioning bathroom and a separate toilet. The kitchen was well equipped, with condiments neatly labeled in English, as true for the whole apartment. A complimentary dessert and handwritten welcome note were a lovely touch. The host is responsive and kind. Overall, a very convenient, comfortable stay with a warm atmosphere. I would definitely return.
