Ronsard Resort IRABU ligger i Miyako-jima, 19 minutters gang fra Irabu Ohashi Kaitsu Monument, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og gratis privat parkering. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. He knows a lot about the area, all the hidden gems and whatnot. Room is flawless. Private chef was very nice. Location isn't bad, especially if you're flying into Shimojishima Airport. I'll be back.

Very nice not too large hotel located at a beautiful beach. Situated on beautiful Irabu island it is set in a somewhat remote and quiet area, with a beautiful almost undisturbed sky at night. Miyakojima proper is about 20 minutes by car. However, Irabu‘s beaches are as beautiful as those of the main island, and the snorkeling is maybe even better. The hotel features a rooftop pool with great views. Breakfast buffet is Japanese style with some western options as well. Everything was very tasty. I can’t confirm earlier complaints from other reviews about the English level of the staff. Of course they are not native speakers (this is Japan, not Hawaii, after all), but communication was always easily possible. I can only recommend this hotel.

Overall, I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. And these were really good points about the hotel: 1. The hotel was super clean and very nice. 2. Rooms were very spacious and thoughtfully prepared. 3. The front desk staff members were so helpful and kind. 4. The location was good as well. It was about 800- 900 yen to the city center with taxis. 5. You can rent bikes or workout equipment from the hotel. I'd definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it.

A lot of effort is made for the comfort of guests. The room is quite clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast selection is really diverse and delicious. The hotel has lovely terrace and a beautiful views. The Shuttle Bus service is very comfortable and I was able to move around the resort freely and quickly. The resort itself propose good selection of entertainment and dining options. There are some lovely beaches in close proximity. There is also free transfer from and to Miyako Airport. I would definitely use Shigira Resort hotel once again if I would come visit Miyako Island in the future. And I definitely recommend Hot Cross Point Santa Monica as well.
