Clean and tidy, and quiet. The receptionist was very nice and professional. I stayed here during the Shikoku Henro pilgrimage. I highly recommend it.

The hotel I chose for the proximity to Tokushima train station, and it was decently priced. It is just on the corner from the station, and the hotel even has an own entrance and exit to a 7/11 convenience store. The room was rather big, even fancy, with a decently sized bathroom and a bathtub which can actually be used as a bathtub. Wi-fi worked well in the room. There are multiple washing-dryer machines at the hotel, even more than usual, so no issues with overcrowding on those. They also can be paid with a card, not just with coins. There are also microwaves and vending machines. The staff were very helpful, and they helped with ordering luggage delivery. Breakfast was superb, with huge variety and lots of great local dishes.

JR Hotel Clement Tokushima bevindt zich in Tokushima, op 3,8 km van Asty Tokushima en 8,7 km van Tokushima Zoo. Very comfortable modern hotel. situated just outside the Train station. Room was very well laid out and the beds comfortable. Room was quiet. Very close to restaurants and shopping area. Easy to move around as the area is well service by train,bus and taxi. Hotel staff professional and it was easy to communicate

The room layout was very practical considering the size. The breakfast was amazing, with a large selection of Japanese and Western style food, plenty of tables and friendly service. The staff were very helpful in changing one of our rooms from a smoking to a non-smoking room (an error we made when booking), holding our luggage after check-out and arranging a taxi to the train station on the same day where we needed to catch a reserved train. The hotel also has small complimentary samples of various skincare products. The view from the 12th floor hallway onto the nearby canal and the city was excellent.

Surprisingly large and comfortable apartment. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C worked really well. The bathroom was a nice surprise, it was fully tiled and felt old school in a good way; and the tub was really deep which felt luxurious.

The traditional Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious. The onsen is located in a beautiful natural setting, very relaxing and authentic. The staff, although not very fluent in English, were incredibly kind, communicative, and efficient. Everything was perfect – highly recommended!
