Everything was great. Clean and comfortable. The surrounding shops closed very early except for dominos so not much food choices 😅 The noodle shop which was on the same building served great noodles with big portions, they opened very early and closes around 2-3 pm.

Dorsett Grand Labuan is located on the Labuan Island, 8 km off the coast of Borneo. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, and offers free Wi-Fi. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable and decor was timeless. We paid for a city view but appreciated being upgraded to a sea view room. Staff were outstanding. All were welcoming, courteous and helpful. Reception staff were superb including the wonderful male receptionist who continued to smile and help me throughout my varied requests for help with printing and laminating late in the evening before Remembrance Day service. On the day after the ceremony, 4 staff members (including one called Irrvilla) gave huge support to print and laminate biographies ready for next year's Labuan Remembrance Service. Nothing was too much trouble for them Daniel was really supportive in arranging transport to the terminal for us when a GRAB car was not available in enough time. He removed the stress of our inability to find a car by taking over and looking after all the arrangements for us. There are many reasons we return to this hotel when we stay in Labuan, including that we feel pampered, respected and personally welcomed.
