The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. The staff were so helpful and supportive- nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and they used lots of exciting local ingredients. The location is perfect for exploring Cuzco. … and the building is beautiful!

Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. We liked everything about this hotel. The service and the breakfast deserve 5*. Rooms are good size and clean, bed and pillows are super comfortable. There is hot water always and it was warm enough. There is a heater in the rooms, but we didn’t need it.

Casa Agustina ligger i centrum af Cusco og har en terrasse. Overnatningsstedet er tæt på Saksaywaman, Twelve Angled Stone og La Merced Church. Dejligt hotel i kort gåafstand fra den travle midtby. Det betyder at der er ro til at sove. Personalet var flinke og vi elskede hende, som lavede morgenmad til os. Så hjælpsom med at vise, hvor vi kunne se nogle flotte dele af byen.

Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo ligger i Ollantaytambo, 21 km fra Bus Station, og har gratis cykler, en have og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Great hotel with a stunning garden and excellent facilities. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and relaxing. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delicious! I highly recommend it.
