Just 8 minutes’ walk from Visby Harbour and the ferry terminal, this quiet hotel offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi access. The greenery of the Palissad Park is right next door. The breakfast was exceptional with everything you could possibly want. When you factor that in, the hotel is very good value for the price. The location, being just outside the town wall, is excellent.

Hotell Slottsbacken is just a few minutes’ walk from Visby’s main street, Adelsgatan. Our stay at Hotel Slottsbacken was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and well-designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding – fresh, varied, and delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and glögg available at the reception throughout the day. We were so satisfied that we have already booked again for next year. Highly recommended!
