Hotell Fängelset Västervik is a converted prison built in the late 1800s and is located right next to Västervik Station. Some of the rooms are refurbished prison cells. Perfect location, right next to the train/bus station. Super friendly staff. Very good ratio price/quality/location. Good choice for breakfast. Practicality-we'be been to fancier hotels that lacked hooks for towels or had dumb fancy showers leaking all over. Here there was no luxery but everything we needed like space to hang wet towels, space to put your own cosmetics etc. The room was tiny, but we were there just for one night and we were happy with it. Its a plus that it has a common kitchen and a darts room and board games-for the next trip with friends it's the perfect place

This eco-friendly hotel, about 400 metres from Västervik Central Station, is located on the waterfront. We really found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful and most especially Isabella and Helena. They were both wonderful and made our stay even better.

Excellent location when getting on or off the ferry. Comfortable and all you need for a short stay . Superb breakfast. Parking in front. Very nice personnel.

Housed in an old harbour warehouse, the Home Hotel Packhuset boasts spectacular views of the Kalmar Sound and the Öland Bridge. Some rooms feature exposed wooden beams, timber walls and free WiFi. Our stay included a buffet dinner, which was surprisingly good. Breakfast was good too. Convenient location to see the castle, cathedral, and old town. Room was nice. Elevator was helpful.

It offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. breakfast was great , location was great , excellent view from my room . staff was really kind and had an answer to all my question and a solution for all my requests . I strongly suggest all of you to try this place !

Situated in Nybro, 49 km from Kalmar Central Station, Orrefors Vandrarhem features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Super friendly host with great recommendations. The movie night was really fun.
