This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Set in Svenshögen, in a historic building, 34 km from Bohusläns Museum, Hällesdalens Gård - semesterhus i Bohuslän is a recently renovated holiday home with a private beach area and barbecue... We were 6 persons staying in the big house and we were delighted with it. It was very cozy with the fireplace and the dinner area with a view to the water. The rooms were also very nice and cozy. We were provided with towels and sheets and the host was very communicative and answered very fast to all of our questions. The hot tub was also super nice.

Spacious, lovely decor, great terrace. Fantastic forest for walking nearby. Cabin was larger than it looks in the pictures, with two proper sleeping rooms upstairs. One room had a double bed and the other two singles, perfect for a family of four.
