This cottage was in a quiet location and a wonderful view back over town. The building is historic and very cute with a clever renovation to make it cosy and very workable. The bedrooms were spacious, well decorated and the beds were super comforty. The kitchen was the perfect size for our short stay and was very well appointed with all the bits and pieces you need. The property manager (Narelle) was amazing to deal with as clear instructions were given and she checked in after our first night to make sure that everything was meeting our expectations and if there was anything we needed. This was above and beyond what we have experienced at other properties. This was the perfect accommodation for our stay in Broken Hill as it met all of our needs and we were very impressed.

Stayed one night on the way home from NSW. Bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was excellent. The room was on the small side but had space to put our belongings. Clean. Bed was comfortable and we slept well since there was little noise from the outside. Reasonably priced compared to other accommodation options. Located on the Adelaide side of town, so it was convenient to continue our travels back home the following morning.

We were welcomed by a friendly staff on our arrival. We loved the chalet, they are pet-friendly, chalet has a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. After a long day driving, the plans were to rest and leave early in the morning, but we loved this accommodation and ended up staying until late. We walked our dog in the morning around the block, and cooked a breakfast before getting on the road again. Highly recommended.

It's like a little Oasis within a desert. Even the outside of the building does not reflect the accommodations within. Would have enjoyed staying longer than one night. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurants' food was delicious.

Ella's Place has a real character. All the comforts of a holiday cottage. Reverse cycle heating in every room, spacious rooms, comfy beds. Claw foot bath, plenty spare towels, soaps, shampoo. Even the kitchen pantry was filled with staples. The place was spotless, location great and very quiet. And the number and variety of movies/DVD', spoiled for choice! When we travel to Broken Hill next time, definitely staying at Ella's Place. Host Corrine was very helpful in trying to find us an accommodation four days later.
