Excellent stay and perfect host. We were messaged that we could already enter the room before 14:00 hours. This was perfect because now we could already leave our belongings at the guesthouse as we went on the Q-train. Also the guesthouse is very comfortable and nicely decorated. We loved it!

It was my best stay throughout the entire jouney in Australia. Basically I've got a small house just for myself that was nicely decorated, clean and equipped with everything, I've got home made cookies, fruits, brekfast, I felt like a king here. The house is located in a calm residential area, yet in walking distance to the centre of Portarlington. The house is surrounded by an amazing garden, I loved the scent of flowers. Denise and Ian are great hosts, I loved to chat to them, I am so happy I could be their quest - and hopefully I can return one day!

The rooms are quirky, huge, and very very comfortable and the welcome box with treats and breakfast makings was a lovely unexpected surprise. The meals at the restaurant were excellent, and it was so nice to just step across the courtyard and into bed.
