Really great location in the old town of Qingdao. The staff were so lovely and had a good level of English so could give us recommendations and answer any questions we had. They gave us a map recommending restaurants offering local food as well as places to get drinks. We only stayed three nights and wish we’d stayed longer. We stayed in a private room so can’t speak for the dorms but the room was lovely and definitely didn’t feel like other private rooms we’ve stayed at in hostels

Everything about our stay was amazing, we felt at home, staff were super friendly and helpful, always there for you. The buffet breakfast and dinner were exceptional, so many varieties and chefs cooked fresh and served as per requests. I would like to highlight the great service provided by Valley wing manager Kenta Goto, his professionalism, commitment to serve, respectful mannerism, especially his humanity in treating all guests as individuals are truly commendable. Thank you, Goto and all staff in Shangri- La, we will see you soon!

Very beautiful place to stay - next to seaside, close to the impressive led show on near buildings. Very comfortable apartment with a living room, bedroom, toilet and bathrooom - perfect if you have visitors during stay, to enjoy a tea and talk. Also close to the market with lot of restaurants. Very good breakfast in hote. Different kind of food, also live cooking. Highly recommended

Cozy, comfortable bed with clean sheets, great & varied lightings in the room with a contemporary newspaper feature wall. Very helpful, warm and professional staff. Fantastic ambience & vibes in their accompanying "Jinn" western restaurant. Great beef souffle pizza & avocado yoghurt blend! So pleased with our first night stay that we decided to come back to 'home ground' after 2 planned visits to other further venues/ province.

I had the perfect stay here. The room was extremely comfortable and the building is absolutely gorgeous. Staff at the front desk were extremely kind and offered to help me plan my activities for the day. This is the best place you can stay in Qingdao!
