The staff are lovely and make sure that your every need is met. The nights are cold in Guatavita, but the heated sheets and comfortable beds mean that this is not a problem. We used the jacuzzi every night to warm up before bed and enjoy the fresh night air after spending time at the communal fireplace. The breakfasts were hot and delicious. The view of the lake and hillsides is stunning.

This was by far the best place I stayed during my 2 month trip to South America- the staff were incredible, the location was gorgeous, and the cabin was amazing. I bought the package including rose petals, wine, and chocolate as I booked this cabin as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend, and it certainly did not disappoint! The cabin is nicely secluded with a view of the lake and the staff brought us dinner and breakfast (which was delicious!), and we also had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows in the evening. The staff were so attentive and they (along with their 2 lovely dogs) made our stay incredible! Thank you so much, everything was perfect!

We loved absollutely everything,. We had the small glamping on the very top which gave us a wonderful view from our bed. The breakfast is brought to you in the early morning so you don't have to go out, this is a plus in the cold morning. They're well separated so you have your privicity. Keep in mind the check in is in a different spot and they will guide you to the glamping, this is like 5-8 min away, so it's fine. The road is not pavimented so be carefu. We loved the service, they were all really kind and clear. We even had a problem arriving and they did wait for us without any problem.

This was by far the best place I stayed during my 2 month trip to South America- the staff were incredible, the location was gorgeous, and the cabin was amazing. Everything. This is the third time I stayed at this hotel. It is one of the best values in all of Colombia in my humble opinion. Everything you need to set up camp for days and days is included in this hotel. It is quiet it is very clean and it is simply one of my favorite places to stay in the world.

The castle was beautiful, as was the surrounding area. It was blissfully constructed with manicure gardens and hidden gems like a swing, hammock, and netted high rise. We stayed in the Chalet, which was wonderful, quaint, and charming in itself. I would highly recommend this place to stay. The hosts were lovely and very responsive to our requests. Absolute pleasure to meet your acquaintance. Order the pancakes,they were delicious! 🏰💖

Lovely hosts who went out of their way to help us with transport and lunch. I wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely return in the future. It’s a great location and such a lovely atmosphere.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Carpe Diem. It was a very special experience, the owners are helpfull and very kind. If you are into camping, go there, you will enjoy it.

Highly recommended. Staff were lovely and the rooms rustic and cozy. Victoria was really helpful and spoke English. Also there is a small animal sanctuary. Worth a stay for a nice break.
