It's the best place, where You can end up in Leticia, the hostal is amazing, very comfy, there is always something interesting to do, the guys have many activities to choose and almost every evening they do also a tematic night, like Cinema or live music or meeting with the indigenous people. I like it so much that I stayed almost a month!!

We felt extremely welcome and at home in Casa Amazilia. They helped out with everything: waited for us at the airport to arrange transport, brought us to the centre of town for dinner, arranged tuktuks and invited us for lunch. Quiet side of Leticia and close to the airport. Far beyond any expectation and the perfect place if you would like a more personal touch.

Spent 4 nights here and had a brilliant time. Mocagua is a little paradise on the Amazon river and La Ceiba is a perfect base to soak it in and explore the area. Maria arranged a guide for us (he met us in Leticia - it’s quite awkward to get to boat terminal etc so having someone local made it a lot easier, his name was Romain and was brilliant). Loads of activities to do and the food was simple but delicious- if you are hungry between meals can go and grab a fresh sweet mango that has fallen off a tree! Rooms are basic (no air con and limited electricity) but this adds to the authenticity of the experience. I’d definitely recommend La Ceiba to experience La Amazonas.

Absolutely everything. We wanted to have some time off from the world, in nature, and that’s what we got. The little houses are divided in two (at least most of those I noticed) and provide a wonderful seclusion from the road noise. The hotel is some 15-20 minutes from the airport. The host, Alex, is one of the warmest and most hospitable property owners I’ve dealt with. My husband and I both understand Spanish but speak a little and Alex and his wife Liliana did everything to understand us and meet our needs. The food was exceptionally tasty. There were different types of beer. The room was clean. We had the necessary amenities. The only catch was that we didn’t know that in this part of Colombia, there’s no hot water from the shower, but that was fine as the lukewarm-coldish was endurable and fine. I want to thank Alex and his team for wonderful welcome, assistance in booking trips that were perfect for us and for a little excursion he organised for us to go to Brazil as there was a local festival going on.

The location in a private reserve was great. Was very peaceful and very relaxing to fall asleep to the sounds of the reserve. Very easy to get to from town. The km11 bus stops right in front of the hostel. Buses go past every 20-30mins. Hosts were very welcoming and assisted with organising a night tour last minute. Also offered a bike for use to explore the area.

We had a wonderful stay at La Cieba. My family of five were very well looked after and Clara and staff were very helpful.. We are three lunches and dinners during our stay, and all meals were freshly cooked and very tasty. A lovely setting right in the heart of the Amazon. Accommodation is clean, and well appointed for tours. We had a fabulous time dolphin spotting. A separate trip to Peru to look for sloths was wonderful too. We also enjoyed a very pleasant few hours kayaking on the river. Would thoroughly recommend La Cieba

Very authentic stay in and by the local Mocagua community. The accommodation are basic and literarilly unpolished which is adding to the authenticity. The staff were great and seemed to have a lot of fun welcoming guests. The food was surprisingly good and all freshy prepared. You can arrange a whole range of activities on site which are all conducted by very experienced local guide who have a weath of knowledge to share even if you only speak as little Spanish as we do.

Caro and her Mum are the kindest, friendliest and nicest hosts we have had on our entire 4 month trip. They could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable. The accommodation is lovely, clean and comfortable and in a great location. If we are ever back in Leticia, we will definitely return to San Jose House. Thank you

The staff were very helpful and did their utmost to ensure a pleasurable stay. The accommodation was palacial. They helped to print our boarding passes and even dropped us off at the airport.

We were welcomed by the host Rebecca and she really made us feel welcome. She was very friendly. It was a very nice accommodation. The kitchen was fully equipped with cutlery, olive oil, salt, pepper, drinks.. we only spent two nights but if you have a longer stay, this is very convient! The whole accommodation was very clean and had all comfort needed. We could even leave our backpacks when we went on a three day jungle tour, so very friendly of them to keep an eye on them. If ever visiting Leticia again I would defenitly book again!

Javier and Natalia and their children are wonderful hosts, and Javier is also a taxi driver, and was always willing to help us get around. The hotel is at the end of the street, but only two or three blocks from the main road that takes you to the border with Brazil--walking distance. It's very basic--no free breakfast, but the accommodations are comfortable and the internet works as well as it does anywhere else in Leticia. The price simply can't be beat. And their kids will sit and tell you about what there is to do and see.

Wonderful accommodation in the middle of nature. Pilar and the rest of the staff were super lovely and helped a lot with organising tours and transportation. I highly recommend to stay here!
