The only thing we liked was the room. Have to say that it has a very comfortable bed, the shower outside is absolutely beautiful. On the other hand the window was uncomfortable hot during all day and the air conditioning can’t keep up. The bathroom had only one small bulb, completely inadequate for seem anything

Incredible, peaceful, and nurturing place! There is no doubt that this is the best place to stay on the island if you want to relax. - The food was heavingly, I had fresh fish almost every day. Also great veggie options! The menu changes daily and you have to give them a time for your meals (except breakfast). - LOVED how quiet the place was. Don't come here if you're expecting to party. You could hear the waves from the ocean-facing cabins. (keep in mind there are many palm trees so you won't have a clear view of the sea, this didn't bother us at all) - There is no AC and, yes, that is a PLUS. You are coming to a sustainable eco-hotel. AC is not energy efficient. If you want AC you should probably not come to this island. - Plenty of sloths around the hotel! - Energy is solar-powered. Big points for the planet! - Service is great. We asked for many favours (especially for food) and they always helped out. Please remember that you are coming to a remote island that has no cars and almost no infrastructure. Inform yourself before coming and adjust your expectations of where you are. This place is a little piece of heaven and you'll love staying here with the right mindset!

The food was in general amazing. It's typical Columbian kitchen. It was always fresh, very tasty and filling. The staff is very kind and they try to help with any requests.

Beautifully put together hostel, great attention to detail and extremely kind people. We stayed there before and after our trip to Isla Fuerte and it has been a perfect spot to relax and sort ourselves out a little. The room was super comfortable with a rotating(!) fan and AC, ultra clean, smart, and colourful. The people were attentive and generous. We felt very looked after. For example on our second stay they remembered that we’d had tea before bed on our first stay and they came and offered us the same without us asking. Two lovely calm nights, thank you all!

Spacious comfortable rooms right on the beach. The owner is a keen chef and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very reasonable price. He also cooks great vegetarian food. The beach area is well designed and has hammocks, chairs and sunbeds.
