The warm atmosphere, the bright room, good breakfast, the rooftop terrace and of course Anthony and his partner. It was a short stay of only1 night (whish we had stayed a bit longer) but they made us feel at home! The house itself is a little gem. Parking just 100m away.

Nice warm welcome when we arrived. The house has been tastefully decorated and retains many original features. The roof terrace was great for reading and relaxing in the winter sun. Watching the sunset from the roof was spectacular. The breakfast was great which set us up for the day.

The accommodation offered by Antonio is amazing — it’s located right in the heart of Cómpeta. You immediately feel the charm of the town and it’s truly magical. Antonio’s attitude was exceptional — even though we arrived late, he waited for us until the very end. Since our flight was delayed for quite a while, he quickly found a solution to make sure we could get the keys. What impressed us most was that the next day, after we had already checked out, he found us in a café in the town center just to meet us in person and make sure everything had been fine. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. In conclusion, we’ll definitely be coming back to stay with Antonio again!

Great location overlooking the plaza. Maurice gave us a warm welcome and provided lots of information about the area. The rooftop honesty bar had beautiful views. Breakfast on the rooftop was a daily surprise cooked by Maurice. A fabulous place to stay and highly recommended.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but the road leading to the property is perfectly signposted and easy to follow — no way to get lost. Even cars with low suspension will have no trouble getting there. The place itself exceeded all expectations. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The owners are genuinely amazing — friendly, caring, and always around to make sure guests feel at home. Breakfast was excellent — fresh, generous, and really satisfying. You can tell everything is prepared with care. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by stunning views that make you want to stay forever. It’s one of those rare places where you instantly feel relaxed and disconnected from the outside world. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know — and I’m already looking forward to coming back. A big hug to your wonderful dogs!

Location was close to Competa, being less than a mile to the main square. It was also ideal for walking the hills of the surrounding countryside. We met one of the hosts who was a great help. Being winter time we appreciated the log burner in the cold evenings.

Fantastic modern apartment, close to the centre of Competa. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is well equipped with kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine etc., everything you need for your stay. Two terraces, one generally shaded with a BBQ, and a sunny roof terrace with 360 degree views. Lidia was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. I would highly recommend booking this apartment, if you are holidaying in Competa.

I turned up a day earlier because I had my dates wrong, but it was no problem for the owner. It was much appreciated. The property location is perfect and the accommodation itself is very good with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. Great value 👍 particularly liked the roof terrace

The accommodation was lovely. It had an authentic feel but with luxury comfort. The breakfast was delicious and I look forward to it every morning. The roof terrace was very relaxing so you could watch over Competa and enjoy a beer from the honesty bar. Perfect base for exploring the local area. Amber went out of her way to make us feel like the place was our own and made the stay great.

Jason & Amber were excellent hosts from the moment of arrival. The breakfast was the most delicious breakfast of our holiday. It really exceeded our expectation. There is a very nice roof terrace looking over the whole of Competa. It has a beautiful view after dark. Our room had its own terrace with a nice view which was a nice place to enjoy one of the craft beers from the honesty bar. Our whole stay was excellent value for money. Thanks again and we hope to be back one day!
