The room was very spacious, the beds super comfy. The staff was very nice, offered us tea and coffee on arrival while we waited for our room to be ready, which happened even before check-in time.

Everything was perfect, we rented the apartment with private bathroom, the bathroom on the 1st floor was newly renovated and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were clean and beds comfortable. The kitchen was on the groundfloor and was fully furnished, the sitting room was small but cozy and had a tv with Netflix. The view from the window was great and the neighbourhood is lovely. We were welcomed by The Helm employee and he was very polite and recommended us a few places to see around Westport which was just what we needed. He also booked us in for dinner later that evening and let me tell you - fish and chips at The Helm was great!

Owners - very friendly and supportive! Rooms - comfortable and super-clean. Breakfasts - tasty and varied. Location - walking distance to downtown and a convenient base for countryside trips. We'll be missing Five Ferns House!
