Superb location within an Apple orchard. Definitely the best resort property anywhere around Sangla. The fact that it is right next to the flowing Baspa river, surrounded by towering snowcapped mountains, the sights are simply breathtaking sitting in the open patios next to our room. The evening bonfire for all the guests to meet up was a unique experience. We did get to meet many interesting people. We stayed in the main building, with a lovely room with a sit-out. The bed had electric warmers which was truly comfortable. And good hot water available at all times. We were impressed with the quality and variety of food on offer, and the resort definitely provides the atmosphere to enjoy every meal in the true lap of nature. The staff impressed us with their efficient and professional approach, as well as always service with a smile. Overall truly a very memorable experience of our stay at a very well managed resort in the middle of nowhere.

The host went above and beyond in making us feel home. He allowed us to check-in early and made sure we have everything we need for our stay. The washroom was new and extra clean and beds and bedsheets are brand-new as well.

Even for the well worn traveller the Shimla to Reckong Peo bus can take its toll. Exiting the bus in Peo both of us were seriously, as all travellers do at times, questioning our choices in life that lead us to such a precarious predicament. We were in need of some love. This love, the cure to our ailments, was found upon entering kinvatika homestay. Three hours after checking in we were washed, deliciously fed, warm, safe, and, most importantly, satiated on a social, on a familial level. We were, both my son and I, no less, transformed. After staying in a number of homestays throughout Kinnaur and Spiti we returned to Kinvatika and our original sentiments remain. This is the one. If you are in need of a similar respite from the arduous road, if you are interested in Kinnauri dialect/history/traditional lifestyle, or, you just want to be enveloped in the love of a beautiful multi generational family then this is the way. The hotel is located in surrounding the hills ranges with snow clad mountains. the river flows on one side with water from melted snows at the top of mountains. there is an apple orchard behind .. Beautiful lush green grass outside, the dining area is vast and well furnished. the services are great. and the rooms are kept impeccably clean and well furnished, and the rooms offer a spectacular view of mountains and jungles apple orchards around. we feel like as if we are in heaven, we loved the place,
