This apartment was super clean and cozy. Kitchen was fully equipped. The bed was soft and comfortable. Overall, We felt like home staying there. Despite all that, my family and I cannot thank the host more for extending her help when our car went off road in the mountain. We are very grateful for her kindness. Thank you so much! Great shower and a comfy bed. I messaged the friendly host requesting an extra pillow and had it about 1 minute later! Altogether it was a great stay and I would definitely return anytime I am in Seydisfjordur.

Staying in this place was a very unique and interesting experience as it was a former old hospital. Building is very spacious and looks both cozy and exotic with a lot of old photos and pieces of furniture. Kitchen is big and nicely equipped for different kinds of cooking. Also there is a huge modern coffee machine where you can brew any kind of coffee for a tiny fee (there is a jar for money, so be honest please!). Nice surprise is that there is free sauna together with shared showers. Rooms are comfy and nice, with some hospital vibes. Staff is very helpful. They are present in the hostel only twice per day in the morning and in the evening, but if something urgent happens you can call them and somebody arrives for help really quickly. Great place to stay in this tiny fjord town :)
