The location is beautiful and quiet, and the hostel is always clean. The owner is really friendly and kind too, I would recommend being able to speak some Japanese so that you can get to know him. My suitcase wheels broke on the way to the hostel so I had to carry my suitcase all the way from the station. When I arrived drenched in sweat he said I should have called him and he would have picked me up; the very next day he drove me to a 2nd hand store to buy a new one.

The location is beautiful and quiet, and the hostel is always clean. The owner is really friendly and kind too, I would recommend being able to speak some Japanese so that you can get to know him. My suitcase wheels broke on the way to the hostel so I had to carry my suitcase all the way from the station. Interior appears a little dated, but is well designed and maintained. Large and comfortable rooms. Conveniently located right next to the train station. Overall I highly enjoyed staying there.

I spent one night in the dormitory as a solo traveller. Asato-san is really attentive and will have the best tips for your stay. The guesthouse is very clean with a very family athmosphere and some house rules to make sure the co-living works. The kitchen is well-equipped and you can rent bikes for YEN 500/day which I recommend to visit the area on a sunny day. I would definitely go back. Thank you!

The place is relatively cheap, there aren't many options at all in the area unfortunately. The owner was friendly, and there was only one couple staying there so it was quite private.

Friendly hospitality from the owner. It is highly recommend this house for stay.  You will  be well- experienced the traditional Japanese culture from every corner of the house. We Thank you for the warm hospitality from the couples. Also we enjoyed the touring around the house.  How amazing! The owner was too kind to share the history of this  house. Really nice and helpful owner speaking fluent English. He provide me a lot information for my trip! The house is also lovely with traditional decorations. Feel safe and warm like staying with friends. Definitely will come back next time.

I feel so grateful for staying here. It is a house of history and filled with historical objects (and equipped with modern facilities for full convenience). The hosts are so kind to introduce the heritage as well as the history & traditions of the area, and help me to explore the area in a most enjoyable and convenient way. My trip was filled with sense of history, wonderful scenery & findings, and joyful learning, which couldn't be possible without staying in this accommodation and the hosts.
