Cheap and cheerful and very good value for money double bed with room to move, fridge, private bathroom, aircon, close to ferry for island trip like Okunoshima. I liked the fact that you got an actual key for a change. Yes, not the modern way but less to remember - put key in, turn and you’re in - simple. And a harbour/river view. The FULL BUFFET breakfast was included. Someone in comments complained it was Japanese breakfast What the?? There was so much choice including bread to make toast, juice, coffee, yoghurt, veggies, pasta, fish, rice, sausage, egg. All included in the $60 room price. I challenge anyone to do better!

Perfect location ditectly in front of the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Free use of microwaves, washing machines and dryer, bicycles, umbrellas and even a printer and copier. Pleny of free amenities for the bathroom. We had a small problem with one of the bikes that required fixing by a mechanic. The money we spent on that got reimbursed immediately with a lot of apologies. Very well handled. If you have questions about what to do or where to go, the very friendly and polite staff are happy to advise you in any way and print out ferry times or train tables. Rain was pouring when we left and while waiting under the little roof outside the door for the traffic light to turn green, the receptionist came out and she _gave_ us two umbrellas as a gift! Amazing value for money. Would not even consider any other place when coming back.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times, and I knew exactly what it offered: a bed to sleep, air condition in summer / heating in winter and location 3 minutes from Mihara shinkansen station. All this at a rock bottom price. You get something this cheap, you can't complain about anything. Also, something you should expect (and you'll definitely get): traditional Japanese hospitality.

It’s my first solo trip, and I booked a bed for 2 nights. Overall, facilities are new & handy, and it’s clean everywhere. Staffs are nice and friendly, they can provide good suggestions on your trip, you can feel that passion of being the host. It was a good time talking to some other guests and some staffs, people with different cultural backgrounds and experiences. Anyway, they just started up, but I think they are doing great.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now. As the airport is quite some distance from the city, it provides an excellent place to stay if you have an early flight. You can walk from the hotel to the airport in about 3 minutes, although they do provide a bus if you don't fancy shifting your luggage along. The hotel is spacious and clean. It's nothing super fancy but performs beyond the price charged.

I would recommend that anybody staying in Mihara stay here. Good location and friendly staff. The food is okay, and the rooms are more significant than other hotels

We had a great stay. We really liked the location (a few mins from the station), breakfast, onsen, room loungewear, room amenities and the friendliness of staff. The room was compact but fit all our things and us fine and had all the inclusions we needed and more. It was only a couple minutes walk to Lawson's which was great for our late arrival. The onsen was a wonderful experience, clean, large and well maintained. It was open until 2am and empty when we visited. Would highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel if you want to spend a little more than a hostel. Only a 2min walk from JR Station. Comfortable bed. Onsen bath is nice and the breakfast made the stay good value. Staff are lovely and helpful and you can leave your luggage for the day.

Stayed here to be close to the Mihara port for a day trip. Convenient location. The bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, but a little crowded because it was the weekend. Overall I’d be happy to stay here again. Also you get a free beer on arrival!

Really close to the airport but still had the opportunity to visit fabulous gardens less than 5 minutes walk away. I stayed in a single room which had a small double bed. Excellent WiFi. Free toothbrush and other toiletries. Free coffee and tea and a great little 'shop' to purchase cup noodles if you didn't want to spend big on restaurant food. I caught the free shuttle to the airport as it was raining but it's less than a 10 minute walk away.

The hotel is very close to the port, which is convenient. The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and went above and beyond to help us. The onsen was hot, and every time I used it, I was the only one in there. I would stay here again if I came to Mihara.
