Jeewa is a warm and welcoming host who went out of his way to make our visit the best it could be. He even took us to the local attractions with his tuktuk. He is a very careful driver. Jeewa's wife treated us with delicious home-cooked meals for both dinner and breakfast. The proportions were also huge. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and truly memorable experience in Sri Lanka. :)

What a place! We had the best time at Visu Villa. If you would like the planning hassle taken out of your trip for a few days, hand yourselves over to Ruwan and the team at Visu Villa. We stayed for three nights at this lovely family run oasis tucked away about a km out of Habarana. Ruwan and his sister Kawshalya made us feel so welcome and Ruwan seamlessly planned and executed the next three days for us. His attention to detail was amazing. We met the team one by one and their service was just great including jeep driver Irosh and tuk tuk driver Anthony. There is a bar, a lovely pool, home cooked food by Tharidu, great people and nice comfy rooms. If you are a fiercely independent traveller who wants to control every minute and rupee this is perhaps not the place for you. The joy of Visu Villa is trusting in Ruwan and his very fair pricing, eating the recommended food, going to the recommended places, being taken care of, having fun with the team and enjoying Sri Lankan hospitality at it's best. Thanks Ruwan and team for a truly memorable three days.

Excellent place! The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The place is quiet. There are only two rooms and are fully separated so you will not get noise from next door neighbours. The balcony is very nice to to sit there and relax. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and even too much :)! Great location! Only 5 mins walk to big supermarket and bus stops. You can take bus easily to Sigiriya or also the tuk tuk is very cheap as the rocks are close by. There are direct buses to Kandy or Anuradhapura.

I recently stayed at Habarana New Star Home Stay for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation offers three rooms: two with air conditioning and one with a fan, all featuring ensuite bathrooms and kept very clean. The friendly hosts were a highlight, providing excellent hospitality and offering tuk tuk services to nearby attractions. The breakfast served was delicious, adding to the overall pleasant stay. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from town. Highly recommended!

Brilliant accommodation and the hospitality to match- so kind and attentive. The outdoor space and garden is pristine. Breakfast and home cooked dinner was extremely tasty. A short walk to Habarana centre (10 mins). A fantastic place to stay and great value for money.

A unique stay at Dudley Nature Resort in the treehouse accommodation . The afternoon visits from the monkeys added to the experience. Dudley was very hospitable and helped us arrange several trips. The pool provided great relief from the heat. The location is great, 10 minutes walk into local shops and restaurants.

One of the best accommodations, food, and of course hosts we had in Sri Lanka so far. This place is so near to nature that we saw two types of hornbills (one couple hornbills came and hit our window:) ), Giant Squirrels (Mummy with baby twice). This is the best base to cover Sigiriya and Dambulla. You can easily see wild elephants on the nearby road. And yes, how we can forget the firefly, and tree frog- gave us a nice visit in our room.

Great accommodation with a very nice family. We stayed here for two nights and would have stayed longer. We took the opportunity to have breakfast and dinner in the accommodation, excellent home cooking. Our host also arranged activities in the area such as a Safari or a visit to the museum and more. We highly recommend.
