We traveled for a month in Sri Lanka and visited more than 10 different places. This was our first one and it set such high standards that almost no other accomodation managed to match. Great host, spacious and clean rooms, best breakfasts and magnificent views. Short ride away from center. I cannot recommend this accommodation more.

We had the most amazing stay in Amaroo! The location, right on the beach was breathtaking. Our room was clean, comfortable with AC and a wonderful open air shower. The food was delicious with the most wonderful cocktails. Our breakfast was fresh and served with a smile. The staff were so accommodating and made us feel so looked after. We were sad to have only stayed one night and would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in Hikkaduwa!

I had a delightful stay at Blue Whales. The ambiance was serene, and the accommodations were well-maintained, ensuring a peaceful retreat. While a small improvement like a glass door in the shower could enhance convenience, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. I applaud the staff for their warm hospitality, making my visit memorable.

One of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka! Excellent location, spacious, modern and extremely clean room.The WiFi worked well. It was also great that you can use shared kitchen and they even let me check in earlier. Could only recommend;)

I had a really nice week in the homestay! The rooms are pretty clean, you can use the kitchen and you are surrounded by nature with avocado trees on the balcony, glow worms in the night and 2 cute dogs. The family is super kind and let you feel really welcomed. I can recommend the accommodations to families, who could book the entire homestay (2 rooms) and solo travelers as well, if you want to calm down and don’t have a need to socialize all day.
