The place is very beautiful and the owner and his family are very kind. We went here for 1 night and we were so pleased that we stayed 4 nights. The rooms , the garden , all is very clean , quite and pleasant . We used bicycle to go to the wonderful and splendid archaeological site of Mihintale and to the lake.

The hotel is in a convenient location and easy to reach. The hospitality of the staff was excellent - they were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The room was super clean, cozy and large. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had two times dinner there and the food was very, very good, The hotel has a pool and beautiful surroundings. And yes, cold water in the shower :) We can highly recommended this hotel!!! We loved it ❤️

We only stayed for one night but felt very welcomed and the room was excellent. The host was always making sure that we had everything and even helped us when our tuktuk didn‘t start! Breakfast was also very good and he made sure that we had enough!

We LOVED our stay here! The family was so incredibly kind and the typical Sri Lankan food they made for us (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. The Mihintale Rock actually surprised us with the beautiful view, definitely a must visit if you ask us. Hope to return one day, Thom and Lars.

The location was brilliant for seeing all the sights of Mihantale & Caprillo our host was so helpful in advising us too, he is the best host. The place was lovely & comfortable & we were cooked the most exceptionally delicious curry dinners in the evenings, we absolutely loved the food! Breakfast was also wonderful. Mihantale itself is beautiful & interesting to explore too & we would recommend definitely staying here to see it. The best guest house we've stayed in throughout our holiday!

Perfect place to stay for exploring Mihintale as it's a short walk from the guest house. Very close by are shops, restaurants and a bus terminal so if you are visiting Anuradhapura and want to stay somewhere not as busy this is easy to get to. I would recommend a stay here.

Harry was super kind during our stay at Afenta. Nothing was too much and he offered us tasty restaurants and gave us good tips for the area. Mihintale is also a beautiful village with beautiful nature.
