The guesthouse is in the perfect spot to walk in five minutes to one of the best beaches: not overrun, beautiful water, nice waves and not too many tourists (or locals). Just perfect for relaxing, swimming and catching some sun or shade. The breakfast is more than enough and very delicious, the woman who runs the guesthouse is very helpful, attentive and lovely. It’s very good value for money and we had one of the best stays in Sri Lanka here! A lovely veranda and garden to hang out after a day at the beach and trinco is not far away (visit the temples, the one in the city is very well worth it). We added one night because we loved the spot so much :)

A lovely spot to stay in Nilaveli. Very close to the beach and great value for money. The staff were lovely, going out of their way to help us. They even went out to get us cokes that weren't on the menu and offered to help us get shopping. The food was delicious and very affordable too. The room was basic as we expected but spacious and clean.

This was such a nice, relaxing space to stay. They have nice chairs outside to enjoy the sun and wildlife. It's very good value and clean throughout with good AC. The host was accommodating and it's only a short walk from the beach and restaurants.

This is a beautiful beachfront property to stay at. The view was amazing with the sound of the waves. Just sit back and relax. Amanda was an amazing host. Very friendly and helpful. She even drove us to the nearest bus stand herself as we had a bus to catch. She offered us some really tasty and delicious local cuisine. String hoppers, dal and potato curry with coconut sambol. Thoroughly loved the experience of staying here for 2 days.

Great design. It’s such a luxury experience to have a room by the beach. The view inside the room is already like a movie. Direct beach access. Great and wild beach. Staff catering to you every need from managing lagoon trip, portion island diving to money exchange. Great food. Beachside BBQ at night is such a wonderful experience. Justifiable price.

Amanta beach is an exceptional place. Located on a secluded beach, with a beautiful garden. Everything is perfectly maintained. The staff are amazing and very service minded. One of the highlights is the exceptional food. You are treated to combinations of flavours which you have never tasted before, all super fresh, organic and locally produced. We can not emphasize enough how lovely Amanta is, a true slice of paradise!

We had a perfect stay! The owners and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The entire property is brand new – we were the very first guests! Everything is spotless and beautifully designed. The swimming pool is amazing and the whole place is just a dream. The breakfast was delicious, and we also had lunch at the property once – it was excellent and highly recommended. The hostess Chandi was so warm and caring – I felt like I was at home with my mom. Every wish is taken care of immediately – they truly go above and beyond. Highly recommended to everyone! We will definitely come back!

Overall, we had a nice stay at Oceanfront. the pool was nice, beach was great, there are few restaurants along the shore, the appartement was spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped for those how would like to cook on vacation.

A lovely, family owned accommodation with very spacious rooms and comfortable beds! Located a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, so a good night sleep is guaranteed. The owner is kind and going above and beyond for his guests. All over a great stay!

The accomodation was very clean and the family was extremely kind and generous. If I would go to Nilavelli again I would definetely stay at Vibushan‘s place! The beatiful beach is quite close to the accomodation, so it can be reached easily by walking. I highly recommend this place!

The best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The room was extremely clean, the terrace is lovely and it’s just a 5min walk to the beach. The staff made us feel at home, Dharsni really knows how to treat guests. Breakfast is delicious, she cooks the best dhal we’ve ever tried. Also her tea is delicious. We loved our days at her place and we’ll recommend this accommodation to all our friends and will come back next time we visit Sri Lanka

Everything about the beach lovers we 😍 Had the best staycation ever. Amazing place for friends couples or families even for solo travalers. The staff everyone so friendly and super caring. It was super easy. Hospitality with a heart - the staff was very helpful with all requests we had like Scooters, Doctors and things to do in the area. Not only were they very helpful, they went "the extra mile" to ansure we were only going to people they knew would do their best to meet our needs. All in all it was great and the staff really turns this hotel more into a family stay than a normal holiday.

Excellent pool, good food, very helpful staff. I'd loved to have stayed longer. Pool was my reason for booking here, as I love to swim laps. Its big enough to get a good swim, and as accommodation is quiet I had the pool to myself.

We stayed at Hotel Cardamon for 4 days and 3 nights, and everything about our stay here was just perfect. From the sweeping views of the ocean the minute you step in to the property, to the super clean pool, comfy accommodation, delectable food no matter what we ordered, and most importantly, the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our holiday comfortable, we couldn’t have picked a better place for our beach holiday in SriLanka!
