We really liked the interior. Such a Scandinavian vibes. Jacuzzi with a view of the mountains and river. There was also coffee and spices available, which was useful for us. We all really liked it, we had a good time. We were unable to enter the apartment, the code appeared to be incorrect, but we contacted the staff, they were responsive and accommodating, and the situation was resolved quickly.

This place is truly unique. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by warm lights and heating already on, which, after a six-hour drive at the start of the Norwegian autumn, feels absolutely wonderful. The hut itself is a perfect blend of modern comfort and vintage charm. It’s thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to feel cozy and at home. The price is also excellent compared to what’s usually available across Norway, great value for what you get. The owner was very friendly and communicative, always quick to respond to our questions. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone looking for a special stay in Norway.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is calm and scenic, offering the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to local stores and amenities, it provides the best of both worlds—serenity without isolation. The property itself is spacious, well-maintained, and very clean. It is thoughtfully designed with attention to comfort and functionality, making it feel like a home away from home. The rooms are large and airy, with plenty of natural light, and all the facilities provided were in excellent condition. From a fully equipped kitchen to cozy common areas and comfortable bedrooms, everything was just as described and more. One of the standout features is the availability of an electric car charger, which was a major convenience for us as EV users. It made our travel plans much easier and stress-free, and it’s a great addition for any future guests who rely on electric vehicles. Communication with the owner was smooth and efficient from the start. They were easy to contact, responsive, and very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was reassuring to know that assistance was readily available if required, though everything ran so smoothly that we hardly needed it. Overall, this property is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, a family, or a group of friends, it has something to offer everyone. Very noce and cosy. Clean. Friendly staff. We were with a dog - perfect stay with a dog also:) view from balcpny with a deepest lake in Europe was amazing. Also we can swim in a lake.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room had a nice size. The bed was really comfortable and the view was amazing. The room had a quite big TV and a small desk to do some laptop work on. The breakfast had a very large assortment, including full English breakfast items. De restaurant for dinner was quite good, and reasonably priced. Overall this hotel has a very good value for your money, I would stay here again.

It was good, in front of a beautiful and peaceful lake. There were supermarkets and restaurants in front of it. The rooms were clean and had more amenities compared to other hotels that i have stayed in norway so far.

We didn’t actually get to stay here because despite booking for 3 nights 9 months ago the hotel waited until the day before to cancel our booking. They did transfer us to their Geiranger hotel which was nice but completely out of the way for the rest of our itinerary so we stayed one night and asked for a refund for the other two nights. They said a refund would have to come via Booking.com but so far no response. 😡
