We loved our staying. The hotel is peculiar in its retro style. I hope that if they ever do a refurbishment they can respect its aesthetics and architecture, the colours, and specially the proportions! The room was huge, with high ceilings contrasting with low beds and a beautiful curtain covering the whole window wall. Outside, the quietness of the pool contrasting with the highway right behind it. Could be a David Hockney painting... The staff was lovely, polite and helpful. The indoor pool was the right size and sunny, with clean towels available. The lavish breakfast can be enjoyed in the large veranda from where you can get a glimpse of the golf course.

The breakfast was super nice, I liked that they offered eggs to cook, and the cooked cereals in the small bowls was a cool touch. The first day I felt the shower a bit cold and a guy who looked like sawyer from lost but kinder solved it super fast.

We had a huge room with a bathroom and an entrance-area just for ourselves - really a pity that we were most of the time away to explore Lisbon. Around the "Hotel", which is on the second floor of a normal apartment house, starts already the interesting part of Lisbon - you can walk or catch the Metro. (Lidl just around the corner) It felt like we were actually living there, because of having keys for all the doors to get in and in the evening after 19.30 the complete apartment was ours... We came to Lisbon by car and booked us a place in "Estacionamento Saba Alto do Parque" in advance for a reasonable price, only 600m to walk and the car was safely stored away while we were exploring Lisbon. In the Hotel it was perfectly looked after us and our wishes were respected. Breakfast everything there, what you need for a perfect start in the day. In the evening/rest of the day - we could help ourselves: always tea, hot water, coffee, cake/cookies, peanuts etc available in the breakfast room. And the staff was really lovely well informed/helpful - so we need now a couple of more times to come back to work off our bucket list 😀

Everything was perfect! The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the accommodation was nice, clean, comfortable. Close to the beach. As I was travelling alone and the plane was delayed, I arrived at the accommodation in the middle of the night. The staff communicated with me via What'sApps and helped me to find accommodation easily. For me, everything was great.
