Everything was wonderful - the rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious, the location is absolutely ideal and is an easy walk (less than 5 min) to all the shops/bars/restaurants in town, Derek was a great host and provided a lovely breakfast and juice and coffee and tea, the hot tub was great, overall it was just a really perfect place to stay, definitely better than any of the hotel options in town!

Excellent service from the proprietor. We arrived just before 9 p.m., having advised we would be there between 8 and 9, and not only were the keys were taped to the front door but the proprietor came out and made sure I had received them. The room on the upper floor was lovely, clean and spacious. Air conditioning worked and the room was quiet despite being near the road, with views of the hills. We loved our time at Hanging Rock Inn and would definitely go back if we're ever travelling over from New Zealand again. Great price.

We stayed here after 2 weeks in Snowmass Village and we worried it would be a letdown but it was a very good stay for just the one night we had open before an 18 day stay in Vail. It’s not luxury but everything about the room was good and it was cheap compared to where we’d come from and where we went afterwards. The room was clean and the bathroom was too. We used the jacuzzi twice and it was decent. I understand what other people said about the chemicals burning their eyes. It was slightly uncomfortable for me too but maybe because it’s indoors. Our place in Snowmass Village had a jacuzzi outside and we used it every morning and night for two weeks but because of the outside air I’m guessing that’s why we never had burning eyes. The breakfast is included and not that great but it was in the room rate so no complaints there. Just don’t eat it. The diner on the same side of the street and just a few minutes walk was really good for nostalgic USA diner food.

Great property, great room, very good location, slight walk into twin, but less than 10 minutes. Lovely breakfast provided with quite a lot of choice, waffles, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, tea coffee plus more. Highly recommend. Would return in the future
