nice place, great staff that made us feel at home and even better! nice position with respect to hearst castle... and other nice places in south of big sur moreover, it is close to some places in cambria where to eat, and not far away from some wineries in paso robles... would suggest!

Simple but very comfortable place. The room looked newly renovated, it was clean and very spacious, equipped with all the usual amenities of US hotels (etc. coffee, microwave, fridge) and it even came with a seaview. The place was ideally located for excursions: the beautiful William Randolf Hearst Memorial State Beach is just a few minutes away by car, the beach packed with elephant seals is no more than a 15-minute drive. I did not visit Hearst Castle but it's also reachable within minutes. At barely above 100 bucks, it was great value for money.

Very nice classic hotel. Good breakfast and great location near the sea lions view point by car.

Surrounded by gardens and palm trees, the San Simeon Lodge has an outdoor heated pool and deck seating, along with rooms with a view of the Pacific Ocean one block away.

The location is excellent, there is an access to the huge beach just across the beach and the whole town is just so calm and peaceful 😍 We got a family room with two king size beds and they were very comfortable with plenty of pillows 😍 and a cozy duvet:) the room was spacious and clean, there was a table with two chairs, coffee maker and plenty of coffee 😍 there was a mini fridge too which was very convenient :) the bathroom was very basic and a bit out of date, more light would be welcome. there is a supermarket beside the lodge with the basic goods👍🏻 and there is washing machine to do some laundry. Ery friendly staff at the front desk. If you arrive after 22:00 the office is closed and they leave you the key in the box at the office door.

This place really exceeded the expectations. Room was big, very clean, quite and comfy. Had a great night sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Reception staff was super friendly and gave me lots of suggestions on the local bar and restaurant and where to see a good sunset. The room was spacious, clean and in a very nice grassy courtyard type setting.

Location is great, right on the beach, with amazing views! The air is unbelievably fresh and crisp, the smell of the ocean and greenery truly amazing. The room looks freshly remodeled, especially bathroom seems really nice and new. The staff was friendly, very fast and simple check in and check out. Breakfast was simple but tasty, good coffee and fresh fruit provided.

Lovely Place! Moonstone Beach is really beautiful and quiet. Cambria is a good spot to stop between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Room is cozy, comfortable and clean.
