Pang and Gio looked after us in every way during our stay at Bees Homestay. They helped organise transfers, trekking and prepared amazing home cooked meals. The homestay is located in a tranquil scenic spot, nestled amongst rice terraces, ducks and buffalos. We loved having our breakfast or afternoon drinks watching the animals roam the fields. Pang and Gio are the friendliest couple dedicated to building a business to support their local communities.

May and her family were the perfect hosts. Cao’s and his wife’s cooking was amazing, very tasty, clean and fresh food, plus it was such a lovely experience eating together with the family. The bungalow was so cozy and very clean and in a perfect location away from the madness of Sapa. Trekking with May was a lot of fun, walking to the waterfalls and the bamboo forest, the views along the way were breathtaking. The herbal baths were much welcomed and a slice of luxury on a rainy day. Overall we loved the three nights we spent here and would love to come back..

From Check in to Check out we had a wonderful experience. The family that hosted us was super kind and friendly. They always wanted to make sure if we needed anything extra, or if they can do anything to make our stay even better. The rooms are really nice, big and clean, and we had our own en-suite bathroom, which was great. Dinner was lovely, we joined in on a family dinner, and it was a brilliant local experience with very tasty food (I can recommend it to everyone - ask for a family dinner) . Breakfast was really nice. The owner asked us every night what time would we like breakfast in the morning, and when we woke up breakfast would be ready on time. Her pancakes are delicious too. Very very good service, and I can 100% recommend this to anyone passing by the wonderful little village.

As a solo traveler it’s always the question where you end up. O’Chau Homestay was such a positive surprise, when I checked in they gave me a free upgrade to a private room, since they just opened it’s still very calm. The location is perfect, I enjoyed the stunning views reading a book in silence. The family made me feel super welcome, they invited me for lunch and dinner and even took into account that I’m a vegetarian. I was well taken care of, a warm rain shower was provided, towels and even a bathrobe! I would definitely recommend everyone to go here! Just rent a motorbike in Sapa and drive through the rice fields to the homestay. There are some really nice restaurants and coffee places close by (walking distance) like Pavi Garden and Sailing Sapa.
