Everything was amazing at Bert and Margaret's place. The Beautiful furniture, furnishings and a lovely garden, exactly as seen on the pictures. The hosts were very welcoming even though we checked-in late. Special thanks to the lovely Dalmatian dog Skipper for helping us)). Highly recommend))

Best accomodation we have ever had in South Africa. Lovely decorated cottage, amazing terrace, fully equipped even with a washing machine. Welcoming hosts. Area is super secure, lot of green around. Had visit in the morning from the cute owner's dog and a monkey. Whenever in Pietermaritzburg, we will definitely come back!

Helga is most sweet and carring person ever, she made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, also a gluten-free and dairy-free breakfast for me. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom really nice. Also her place is quite central and close to the airport. I definitely recommend it.

Nothing in particular! Luckily it was a one night stay only after running the Comrades and we didn't want to get caught up in heavy traffic driving back to our accommodation in Durban.

Had to cancel the stay as I was informed by the manager of the accommodation...that he did not have the required amount of rooms for me and my family....and that if I had looked on the website.. I would of seen that ...they could not accommodate the request amount of people..... I then wassup him and an email to the cancellation was sent through to bookings.com

The breakfast was good. The accomodation would have scored excellent but for a bit of a hiccup with no hot water to shower they did respond promptly to resolve the problem but our stay was too short to benefit. However they compensated with a free breakfast even with the cold shower the venue was worth every cent

What an amazing experience staying at Taunton Manor, Beatrice greeted us and was an absolute delight. The Manor is a five star stay, beautiful decor, and no expense spared . We will definitely return and look forward to seeing Beatrice again. Many thanks, it was a perfect way to end a memorable family holiday in South Africa.

I loved the pool area, it was the highlight of our stay and is one of the reasons why we want to return for the September school holidays. The staff were friendly and very polite. The family room was very spacious. The breakfast variety was good. During breakfast one of the ladies sang happy birthday to my daughter and gave her a chocolate which was a great gesture, thank you.

Friendly staff, easy to get in and out of the property. Place feels safe. Privacy when you want it, pool and patio furniture if you want to be outside. It's not a holiday destination but perfect for business trips or overnight stays if you're traveling. Beautiful property.

Perfect accommodation for an overnight stay, it's compact but comfortable. Only about a km away from the start of the Dusi Canoe Marathon so the location was perfect for us. We arrived during load shedding in the pitch dark but a staff member was quick to bring us a rechargeable light which was a big help. They were also very quick to let us know that we'd left a pair of shoes behind which they held on to until we could go back and fetch them.
