I visited Rapa Nui for two nights in December 2024 and Kitai Cabanas was really the best place to stay and made my short trip wonderful. The hosts are lovely persons and make the guests to feel welcome. Even before arrival communication was great and all questions have been answered quickly. Pick up at the airport was included and drop off at departure as well. The cottage is spacious, clean and a fully eqipped kitchen (which I did not use though, as Kitai Cabanas is next to many good restaurants). Water dispender is in the room, which was convinient. Room, bath and kitchen have been clean and I had a nice terrace with garden view. There are many lovely cats arround. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. I booked also an island tour with the hosts and Kevin is an excellent guide. Very knowlegable about the history and culture of Rapa Nui.

The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. The hosts were amazing! They went well out of their way to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. The cabin was clean and spacious, equipped with good Wi-Fi and warm water. The location was close to downtown area but away from the hustle and bustle. They even helped me rent a scooter which was an awesome way to see the island. Would definitely recommend

They always made me feel very welcome and the breakfast is absolutely delicious and filling. I was stuffed after all the delicious food.
