Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Gianluca was a great host with super clear directions, and he helped us map potential places to visit and go eat. I forgot to take pictures, but the lodge was absolutely gorgeous, and our room had all that you needed for visiting Cahuita. Free WiFi and free private parking is available on site. The place is a hidden gem. Nestled in the middle of the rain forest amongst lush gardens and local fauna. The songs of the birds were incredible and you could hear the houler monkeys every morning. We hope to come back soon.
