A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

You have a lot of the animals of the national park and have still a roof all you need. It is an unbelievable place to see amazing birds. Do not go if you need air conditioning and are afraid of animals. An amazing place to immerse with nature. We now have been 4 times and will definitely come again :-). Super well managed by the owner and the stuff is so nice and they all know what they do.

Macaws in the almond tree, parrots arriving and departing (always with a great party :)), a wonderful garden, 2 really cute cats. We really loved it there. Beach, Supermarket and restaurant are walking distance. A perfect place to start a Corcovado tour as well. Lubna was on holiday when we arrived, but she managed everything from the distance. We had the place for us own, its a shared kitchen and bathroom. Be sure you have money with you, it was not possible to pay the room with credit card.
