Our stay was wonderful. The hotel room was clean and beautiful, with a window overlooking the Nile River. When we arrived, they offered us a welcome drink at the roof. We arranged an excursion to Abu Simbel and an early-morning airport transfer through them. This meant they were available at very early hours to take the boat and help us cross the Nile. We had also arranged breakfast, but since we had to leave very early for Abu Simbel, they packed it for us in a box—an unexpected and very thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated.

Located on a serene island, you’re surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the river. We stayed in a river view room, with a farm right in front of our window. Waking up to the view in the morning was truly a gift. The rooms are a beautiful homage to local Nubian heritage, with charming architectural and design touches that make you feel like you're staying in a traditional Nubian home. Yet, you also have all the comforts of a clean, well maintained air-conditioned room, which was such a perfect balance. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure that guests experience the local culture in an authentic way. It’s perfect for travelers who want to embrace the slow life and connect with the area’s heritage. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Even before we arrived, he kept in touch and responded promptly to any questions we had about our booking or itinerary. He even provided us with an incredibly detailed and helpful list of dos and don’ts, along with travel suggestions for Luxor, Cairo, and Aswan! There are many activities and day trips to historical sights provided by the hotel as well, and we always felt like we were in good hands here. As a passionate traveler himself, you can tell he truly cares about giving his guests an unforgettable, authentic experience. One of the highlights of our stay was taking a refreshing dip in the Nile. It was incredibly relaxing, after a busy week full of walking around and traveling. Our favorite part of the stay was meeting the warm and welcoming locals. The owner took us to a local village on another island, where we had the chance to see traditional Nubian houses. The local kids were playing and running around outside, and it was a truly heartwarming experience to interact with them. They also have an adorable dog, Zazu, who will greet you with endless love and affection the moment you arrive! We already miss him so much!!

Their warmth and hospitality truly made me feel at home. The rooms were absolutely fantastic, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a blend of traditional Nubian charm and modern comforts. The attention to detail was evident, from the cozy bedding to the well-maintained amenities. I particularly loved the little touches that made the space feel unique and inviting. Also, that the pictures matched the reality Overall, this guest house exceeded my expectations in every way. The range of activities they offer, such as the boat ride and the drive to Abu Simbel, were not only reasonably priced but also of high quality. One of the highlights of our stay was the Nubian party with live music hosted by the property. The lively atmosphere and the enchanting music made the evening an unforgettable experience.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They always try to make you feel like home. They can also get your tickets for the temple and the light&sound show. We didn’t know this but it would have been a great option. Location wise is quite convenient because it’s next to the bus station. They also have a tuktuk and Hamo will take you back and forth to the temple or wherever in Abu Simbel always with a smile. It was so nice not having to worry about the transportation because Hamo was always there to drive us around and make our life easier. They also helped us with the bus back to Aswan and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel seems also quite new and it is very clean.
