David, the host/manager was very friendly and helpful with the stay and recommendations for dining. Great deal for the price. I'll definitely return!

The hosts are incredibly nice and made us feel at home. They work very hard balancing their small coffee shop in the hotel’s lobby, their boutique hotel (and raising their young family). Getting to know them was great. Their breakfast rooms are incredibly clean.

Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa dateert uit de 17e eeuw en is het voormalige vakantieverblijf van een adellijke familie. Dit 5-sterrenhotel heeft een spa- en wellnesscentrum. Although I wasn’t travelling with my dogs I was delighted to find out this is a dog friendly hotel, it even had a dog friendly restaurant inside the hotel. The staff there very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. There is nothing I could fault.

The breakfast buffet was the best we‘ve had in Spain so far, with a big variety of choices. We‘ll definitely stay again when we‘re in the area.

Hotel Parador de Plasencia is gevestigd in een voormalig klooster uit de 15e eeuw. Het heeft de prachtige, originele architectuur weten te behouden, waaronder de ruime gangen, bogen en binnenplaatsen.... Beautiful and exceptionally clean. Very historic and grand. Car parking was tight getting on the car elevator, a unique experience. It is best to have a small vehicle in Europe.

Very close from all the sites. Very nice surroundings to walk around and take pictures. The staff especially Christina went out of her way to drive us to the bus terminal : something to remember
