The room was smaller than expected, but it felt cosy and it didn’t bother us at all. It had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean, which is always a big plus for me. We were able to park the car right outside our room. The pub meal in the evening was excellent, and breakfast was very good as well. The property is also conveniently located near Bicester Village, Waddesdon Manor, and other attractions.

As on of the reviewer said — the owner is a legend! He welcomed us with so much warmth, showed us the incredible mansion (dating back to the 12th century!) and its grounds. Staying here feels like travel in time and return back to medieval England. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bath was perfect after a long day. But the true highlight of this place has eight legs of pure love and grace waiting to welcome you! While I was admiring the property, my husband spent most of his time enjoying the company of Duke and Molly, two amazing dogs. You must visit this place. I dare say it was one of the absolute highlights of our trip!
