Said to be haunted, the 4-star Ballygally Castle Hotel has a Ghost Room and atmospheric dungeon. There is also a large garden and terrace, and a lounge with an open fire and antique furniture. Lovely property, really felt like you were staying in a castle. We had a lovely room overlooking the ocean. Bed was very comfortable Lovely Gardens overall a very peaceful stay

Golf, tennis and boat hire are also available on site at Manor House Marina. It's a fantastic hotel I really couldn't fault it at all. Fantastic views of Lough Eren. We had food in the hotel both nights and it was lovely. The first night in the cellar bar we had fish and chips and it was top notch. Second night we had our dinner in the Belleek restaurant for my wife's birthday and it was beautiful.Great selection of cocktails and drinks on offer with the most comfortable seats in the Water gate bar . The breakfast both mornings we had a great view of the Lough and the attention to detail from the staff was very impressive. We did the stairway to heaven which is a half an hour drive away and we came back to a beautiful dip in the pool as well as the outdoor Jacuzzi . There is also a steam room and a sauna. Definitely going back and I will make sure to bring the golf clubs and book the spa treatment well in advance.

We were welcomed with some small treats in the room and a hand written note which was a lovely touch we were not expecting. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the mornings was very good, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!
