Second time staying and am yet again impressed by the hospitality displayed by the staff - from the check-in staff, to the bellboy, waiters/waitresses, managers. They did not only cater to our needs, but anticipated them. Such a rare trait among service staff in India. Rooms were comfortable as usual, with hot showers and warm rooms, ultra comfy beds and pillows. Special shout-out to hotel staff Kelly, whose helpfulness and enthusiasm shone through, and Larry for her professionalism and efficiency in checking us in. All in our travel group agreed hands down this was the best place we stayed in during our travels in India.

I booked 3 nights but I extended more. Because it was really nice and comfortable. Especially people!!!!! Everyone who works at the hostel is so friendly and helpful. They were always willing to help. Hot shower was just perfect. Actually I was here during winter time so it was quite cold in the morning and night but hot shower was more than enough to make warm. Also breakfast is included. Actually I concerned a bit about the location before I came because this hostel is a bit far from city center but I realized it was a perfect choice while I was staying. You can feel calm and being local. Also it is easy to go to the center by a shared taxi. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back to Shillong!
