A cozy nearby onsen (with snacks and drinks!) and small friendly bakery nearby really make this place feel special. I would love to come back next time I need a quiet escape from the city life.

Our stay in Nagato was made extra special thanks to this cozy, homey place. It had plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen, and incredibly soft tatami mats with comfortable futons that made for a great night’s sleep. The hosts were truly wonderful—very kind and welcoming. They introduced us to some amazing local spots for food and shopping, and even let us know about a fireworks festival we would have otherwise missed! This was definitely one of the best places we stayed during our trip and a perfect base for exploring Nagato.
