The Gables B&B ligger i Ohakune, 37 km fra Mount Ruapehu. Her er en have, gratis wi-fi og roomservice. We didn't meet Michelle, but felt very well her touch on everything. She took care about the smallest details, and in her absence she made her best to give us the feeling that she is there. The accommodation was spacious, clean, cosy and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay in The Gables and recommend it to travellers who are visiting Tongariro National Park and the area.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We had the place to ourselves over Valentine's day. It is an amazing place. Incredibly spacious with gorgeous vies of Mt Ruapehu. If you can, definitely go there!

Ranfurly Cottage ligger i Raetihi, 49 km fra Mount Ruapehu. Her er en have, gratis wi-fi og roomservice. So many thoughtful touches, a fantastic breakfast, cosy cottage with the fire on when we arrived. Under floor heating in the bathrooms. And amazing hosts! Truly loved our stay.

Central Motel & Lodge ligger blot 4 minutters gang fra det centrale Ohakune og har udendørs spabad. Samtlige ferielejligheder har faciliteter til egen forplejning og elektriske tæpper. 10/10 for absolutely everything! First things first, Denis, our host was absolutely fantastic and accommodating for us to check in late so we can enjoy the lovely weather. He also gave us really good trail recommendations since our plans to do the Crossing have been cancelled. The room itself was big, clean, comfortable with a huge bed and new facilities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower was a delight! And to top everything, there is a hot tub to enjoy after a long day of hiking. Best place in NZ so far.

This is a 2-bedroom house that is tidy, clean, and spacious. The person managing the place is friendly and thoughtful. It's the best house I've stayed in while in Ohakune.
