Fantastic clean apartment about 30 minutes walk away from Bled. Marjan was a warm and friendly host. Fantastic rooftop with a wonderful view of the castle and great location next to the train station. Would highly recommend getting the 'bled breakfast' delivered as well!

They couldn't be more welcoming. Great location near the spectacular Vintgar Gorge (10mn walk). Highly recommend to choose the Alpine trail to come back and almost arrive at the door of the apartment. Free shuttle Bled town to Vintgar every hour if you are too tired to walk back. Depart from Bled bus station on the hour. Walk to Bled via walking trail is easy, beautiful and less than an hour.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Out of all the places we stayed at during our trip in Europe for a month, this was easily our favourite accommodations. The apartment was incredibly clean and spacious with absolutely everything we needed. There was plenty of parking space available. Only a 15 minute drive from Lake Bled which was perfect. The host was sooo so lovely and the list of recommendations they provided, including the restaurants, were outstanding. Don’t be worried about no A/C, as it cools down plenty at night to make it very comfortable. Loved the dogs that were on the property as well! :D

The apartment is very comfortable, it has everything you need. Also the bed was comfortable. Is it only a few minutes from Bled so it’s easy to get there with a car.

We were a family of three and had plenty of space in our two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, bathroom and big balcony. The apartment is tastefully furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well furnished and we were able to cook dinner almost every day. Our landlady Vesna was very kind and welcoming - she met us on arrival and showed us around, gave us her phone number in case we needed it. In the middle of our stay she surprised us with some eggs from a local farm, which were delicious! There is a supermarket just in front of the apartment which was very convenient, and there is a bus stop just across the road where the free bus to and from Bled stops 4-5 times a day. You can also walk to lake Bled, the nearest point is about 30 min. walk through a nice village. The location is very calm and relaxing, and although a bit away from the lake (about 3 km), we felt this was a better place to stay than the rather crowded and busy lake. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to be back one day! Thank you Vesna :)

The accommodation was great, the views were amazing, staff was exceptional. I do not have anything bad to say. They were all very kind, they answered any question. The room and bathroom was clean and just perfect. The food was very tasty and the views were stunning. Would definitely recommend!!!!

A truly special stay at Alpine Homestead! Jasmina is an incredible hostess—warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Despite the cold and rainy weather, she made us feel completely at home. Her homecooked dinner, made with local ingredients and neighborly love, was absolutely delicious—especially the chicken soup, which was pure comfort in a bowl. Highly recommend for anyone looking for genuine hospitality and a peaceful mountain escape.
