They also promptly addressed any of our issues, and provided apt suggestions to our itineraries when asked. Room was vibey, clean, and very spacious. Even got a in-house coin laundry + dryer which is the cheapest among all our accoms. Hope Hotel provides their own laundry ball, so you need not fret about purchasing your own detergent. Location wise, it is very near Guohua Street (walking distance), which is full of eateries. If you are driving, can park at the nearest Hai An Street Underground carpark (closest pillar number 48). Also, there is a castella cake shop right below the hotel which is nice too (Min Dong). Definitely would rate 11/10. Exceeded our expectation.

So sorry I forgot to bring my swimming shorts because the pool looked very inviting. And they run a free shuttle into town if you can’t get a table in the restaurant.

Staying at this hostel was totally awesome and unlike anything I've done before. The lady running the place, "阿嬷" (kinda like saying 'Auntie' in English), was super warm and loved to chat. It felt more like she was looking out for me like a family member would, not just doing a job. (FYI I am native speaker of Mandarin so not sure everyone gets the same vibe). And man, when I had to leave, I actually missed the place – it was like leaving home or something.
